Tuesday 14 December, 8pm Christmas Blues

During the last two years we’ve been through a lot. Sometimes we need spaces to hold our sorrow. Christmas Blues is all about that. It comes in two sections.

Service will start at 8pm: A reflective, thoughtful, spacious act of worship designed to give your soul a little space to admit to the hard stuff about Christmas, pray and find some peace and headspace.

A mixture of poetry, readings, silence, music and space to reflect. #lightinthedarkness #bittersweetseason

Sunday 19th December Sunday before Christmas, 10am

An interactive, family-friendly service to get you in the mood for the big day. Carols, quiz, interactive Bible readings.
All the children and young people in church get presents.

St Catherine’s Carol Service, 6pm*

Candlelit service with all your favourite carols, Christmas Bible Readings, poetry and special musical guests.
Service followed by mince pies and mulled wine. Don’t miss it!

Thursday 23rd December and Friday 24th December Knitted Nativity in the porch 4-5pm

Drop by anytime you like to see the Nativity scene all set up in the porch door of the church. A delight for everyone of all ages.

Lovely way to start or finish a ‘See the Christmas lights around Telegraph Hill Walk

Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, 11pm*

Beautiful and atmospheric candlelit service of
Holy Communion with carols to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Christmas Day*

Saturday 25 December
Sung Eucharist with carols, 10am
Joy to the world, the Lord has come! Come & celebrate with us on Christmas Day.

Due to issues around Covid-restrictions and manageability three services are not happening this Christmas:

No Crib Service – usually held 4pm Christmas Eve
No service on Sunday 26th December, Boxing Day
No WATCHNIGHT Service, 31st December
