During Holy Week we want to provide some tailor-made resources for worshipping in your homes.
Maundy Thursday Worship at Home
Good Friday Worship at Home
Holy Saturday Worship at Home
Easter Sunday Worship at Home
These resources are flexible and designed to be used at home to help resource your own worship and prayers on your own or with other members of your household. They could be used alongside the liturgical resources offered by the Church of England or if you are watching services on the TV or being livestreamed.
The key thing is to take some time to pray, read the bible and worship God, especially at this very important time in the church year.
Perhaps this year, as you use these prayers and readings as part of your worship at home you might want to begin by bringing signs of hope into your home. Some greenery from outside, a drawing of spring, or the resurrection. You may even want to go outside to pray and let the bird song and signs of spring bring hope and solace to your soul.
Special items from Maundy Thursday through to Easter Monday
One Minute on….
From Maundy Thursday through to Easter Monday we will create a special email that has a special prayer for that particular day – allowing even those who are still very busy to take one minute over Holy Week and Easter to focus on prayer.
Instagram (stcatherinehatcham) will feature special images, thoughts and prayers. You need to follow us on instagram in order to see this.
