Sunday 14 April 2019
Celebrating Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem this service begins with a Palm Sunday drama performed by the children in the Narthex.
This is followed by a lively procession around the lower park with drums and flags. Then there is a dramatic reading of the Passion Gospel in church for the adults, with Palm Sunday activities for children in the Narthex.
Palm crosses for everyone. Not to be missed.
8.00am Holy Communion (intimate, quiet said service with a short sermon, but no hymns)
10.00am Parish Eucharist (with hymns, sung liturgy and a slightly longer sermon, as well as groups for children and young people).
