St Catherine’s singing group is an informal choir that meets after the 10am Sunday service at St Catherine’s to rehearse.

We sing at Sunday services about five or six times per year. We sing a mix of modern gospel, worship songs, folk tunes and traditional hymns.

Currently, WE NEED MORE SINGERS. You don’t need to be able to read music to join the group, but you do need to be able to sing in tune and be committed to attending rehearsals, particularly in the lead up to important dates in the church year: e.g. Easter and Christmas services.

We are an inclusive choir and are looking for singers of all ages and all voices, low and high. However, we are particularly keen to welcome bass, baritone and tenor voices.

Lily, the choir leader, will be holding very simple auditions after the service on 10th and 24th February. For more information you can contact Lily on lily.swan@hotmail.co.uk

INSTRUMENTALISTS. We are also looking for instrumentalists who are confident on their instrument and have some experience of playing in a group. Please contact Lily if you think this is you.
