Over recent years St Catherine’s has been involved in and supported a range of community action and social justice initiatives, raising awareness and helping people locally and globally.
Friendship group and English classes for refugee women, tackling holiday hunger and food poverty, collections for Christian Aid and Southwark Day Centre for asylum seekers, Toilet twinning, Plastic Sunday, … and plenty of other things too.
We consider this very much part of our understanding of what Christianity means to us – living out our commitment to show God’s love in the world.
