St Catherine’s is open! Online and in person!

From Easter Sunday St Catherine’s started her new pattern for worship. Every Sunday we will be open in person and online via Instagram.

The pattern for April-June will be:

Monthly Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the Month

(4 April, 2 May and 6 June)
Weekly Holy Communion ServiceThere will be music and soloists at this service, but no communal singing.
This is a quieter, more reflective service, numbers are restricted to 40 but usually there are no more than 6 at this service, so a seat is guaranteed. There is NO music at this service. This service is restricted to 40 people, but at the moment attendance is around 20. If you’d like to come, there is no booking (currently) but you are advised to come early.

St Catherine’s is a safe place to be

We have made the church Covid-secure by making sure everyone:

 – sanitises their hands
 – wears a face mask in church

 – gives track and trace details

 – refrains from congregational singing

 – refrains from sharing the peace physically (e.g. hugs/shaking hands)

 – shares Holy Communion in one kind only (e.g. just the bread, no shared cup)

 – maintains social distancing

There is a one-way system to enter and exit the church and our numbers are restricted to 40 people only. For the moment, there is no post-church coffee or socialising indoors.

Please do think about returning to church over the next few weeks.

We are so looking forward to slowly, slowly re-creating our community in person, as well as maintaining our community online.
