This Sunday at St Catherine’s….
we’re thinking about Jesus’ call to put our feet in the footprints of the fishermen and “Follow him” – with heart, body, soul and strength. What might that look like in our lives, 2000 years later, in south east London…?
This Sunday it’s Alltogethernow for Candlemas – a beautiful service rich in symbolism, which marks the very end of the Christmas season. We hear the ancient story of Anna and Simeon and think about promise, wisdom and hope.
This Sunday we’re looking at one of Jesus’ best know miracles – changing water into wine. It’s an image of abundant grace.
We’ll be focusing our thoughts on Jesus’ baptism and what it means for God to called us by name. A time for re-connection with God at the start of the new year.
The Feast of Epiphany – where we celebrate the journey the wise men made to find Jesus. It’s an intriguing story, full of mystery, wonder, yearning and we’ll be using the story to think about moments of realization, journeys and seeking Jesus in our lives.
