Welcome to St Catherine’s!

We hope you quickly feel at home here. St Catherine’s is a place where we seek to be a beacon of hope on the hill—a church family rooted in prayer, shaped by worship, and committed to living out the love of Christ in our community and daily lives.

St Catherine’s is a parish church in the Diocese of Southwark, part of the wider Church of England.

The best way to get to know us is by joining us on Sundays. Our 10am Parish Eucharist is at the heart of our life together, with a rich pattern of worship, music, and teaching.

Children are especially welcome, with groups and activities offered during the service, and we love gathering all ages together at key festivals throughout the year.

We also gather regularly in the week: Morning Prayer is said Monday to Wednesday at 9am, and Holy Communion is celebrated on Thursdays at 9.30am. These simple, prayerful times are a wonderful way to pause in God’s presence during the week.

Alongside these, we hold other services and events across the seasons—quiet midweek prayers, community activities, and special celebrations. These are opportunities to encounter God, deepen faith, and share fellowship.

Beyond Sundays, we encourage everyone to find a place to belong midweek—whether through our bible study group, walking group, our Branching Out fellowship for over-55s, or one of our community partnerships. These are spaces where we can grow in faith, support one another, and serve the wider community together.
