Your local Anglican church. The church sits on the very top of Telegraph Hill and serves the local communities of New Cross Gate, Brockley, and Nunhead.

8am Holy Communion (1st Sunday of the month, small, reflective service)

Who we are

Rev Sheridan James

Vicar

Hi! I’m Sheridan and I've been the Vicar of St Catherine's church since May 2011. I love the sense of community here. This is a good place to worship God and nurture your spiritual life and be passionate and thoughtful about what it means to follow Jesus in the 21st century.
I love the fact that we are an outward-facing church. We’re really engaged with local events and projects, mainly in partnership with the Telegraph Hill Centre. Outside of work I love my dog, a good TV drama, music and dinner with friends. I started running in 2016, which I really love - but I am never going to run a marathon. I can speak English, Welsh and French fluently.
